The past year has not been one of the easiest. To a greater or lesser extent, difficulties have affected everyone. While adults faced all sorts of problems, children and young people were not spared either. One of the more acute issues has become social isolation.

Professor Jerry Uelsmann, a respected American photographer, divided his students into two groups at the beginning of the academic year. Those in the first group were to be judged on the amount of work they did. They were to take as many photos as possible during the semester. What mattered was not their quality, but how many they took. Those in the second group, on the other hand, were to be judged on the basis of just one great photo. Their task, therefore, was to provide only one, but perfect, photograph.
