Dr. Jacek Kąpiński
pediatric orthopedist
"In working with children, the most important thing is to be open, empathetic and go through the whole treatment process together with the patient and their parents."
Dr. Jacek Kąpinski is a pediatric orthopedist who is passionate about comprehensively supporting the health and fitness of his youngest patients.
Dr. Kąpinski treats children from birth to 18 years of age, both post-injury and with a variety of orthopedic conditions - from limb and posture defects to sterile bone necrosis and foot deformities.
As he emphasizes: "In working with children, the most important thing is to be open, empathetic and go through the whole treatment process together with the patient and his parents," which allows him to build trust and a sense of security in each patient and his family.
A special area of his practice is congenital and acquired foot defects, with a special focus on clubfoot, which he treats with the Ponseti method.
He gained experience in this field during his internship at the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, University of Iowa Health Care under the supervision of Prof. Jose Morcuende, and as a result became a Ponseti International recommended doctor.
Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Kąpinski has also been performing preventive ultrasound examinations of the hip joints, using the method developed by the creator of the technique, Prof. Reinhard Graf, which allows early diagnosis and effective prevention of dysplasia.
He regularly participates in courses, trainings and internships at home and abroad, including those organized by EPOS (European Society of Pediatric Orthopedists), PTOT (School of Pediatric Orthopedics) and AO Pediatrics, constantly improving his qualifications and skills.
The addition of dr. Jack Kąpinski to the Paley European Institute team is another step toward comprehensive, holistic care for children and their families. We invite you to enroll!
