Dr. Marta Bogotko, a provincial consultant in child neurology, joins the Paley European Institute medical team. She is an expert in child neurology and pediatrics with more than 25 years of clinical experience. Since 1999, she has been dedicatedly working with children
and adolescents, offering comprehensive neurological care. She also has a specialization in EEG and EEG Biofeedback.
Dr. Bogotko's professional experience includes the position of head of the Pediatric Neurology Sub-Department at the Prof. Jan Bogdanowicz Children's Hospital in Warsaw, as well as work at the District Psychiatric Hospital in Gdansk, the "Budzik" Clinic and the Mazovian Center for Neurorehabilitation and Psychiatry. She has worked with numerous mental health clinics, as well as with the Children's Rehabilitation Center in Dzierżążno. For years she has shared her knowledge as a lecturer in electroencephalography at the Polish Clinical Society. She is a graduate of the Medical University of Gdansk, where she received her doctorate in neurology.
Dr. Bogotko's areas of expertise include neurodevelopmental disorders, epilepsy, headaches and spinal pain, neurological diseases, movement disorders, gait disorder diagnosis, MPDz, as well as Aicardi-Goutières Syndrome (AGS). Dr. Bogotko also specializes in the diagnosis of children with holistic developmental disorders, including those on the autism spectrum, and the evaluation of neurological symptoms such as hollow foot.
She has been repeatedly recognized for her work - she is the recipient of prestigious awards such as the Patient's Laurel (2016, 2018), Golden Synapse (2016) and SuperMedicus (2015, 2016).
The scientific output of Dr. Marta Bogotko includes publications such as "Autism. "Autism - Diagnostic Dilemmas. Between Biology and Symptoms" and "Parametric Description of EEG Profiles for Assessment of Sleep Architecture in Disorders of Consciousness", presented at Auditorium Anatomicum in Gdansk.
He consults patients up to the age of 18 in Polish and English.
