PALEY ABCs - PALEY FAMILY

During intensive physiotherapy, a special bond is built between the patient and the specialist. The experience and attentiveness of physiotherapists make patients approach exercises with confidence. Sometimes these exercises can be painful, but our attentive physiotherapists are able to calmly explain where the pain comes from, and that it is a natural and temporary stage. In a nutshell, we are keen to make sure that even during the not necessarily pleasant treatments, the patient feels that he is in the best hands, which not only help to achieve the next therapeutic goals, but can just as often pat on the shoulder with appreciation.

Every visit to PEI brings not only a thorough medical consultation, a professionally performed X-ray, or physiotherapy tailored to their needs and abilities. We are also committed to ensuring that patients receive the best care when they contact the front desk or care coordinators. Visits to PEI also become an opportunity to get to know other families who face similar challenges. Every day we see how naturally it comes to young patients to form relationships and play with other children. Many times these friendships carry over from the Institute to the outside world and have continued like this for many years, resulting in joint trips, among other things.

Following our values, since last year we have been organizing a family picnic in Julinek near Warsaw at the end of summer. We want this annual meeting to become our common tradition, which both children and adults look forward to with baked goods on their faces. The picnic is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that were born at PEI, as well as to get to know other families and our employees, who you don't see at the Institute every day, but take care to make sure everything works as it should.

In Julinek, each participant has a chance to showcase his or her talents and skills, take part in age- and ability-appropriate games, climb in the rope park, and eat something delicious in the meantime.

Shared experiences, hospitalizations, surgeries and physiotherapy make people reveal their tender points and delicate parts that are hidden from the world on a daily basis. For this reason, our lovable and eager-to-please entertainers and a psychologist who serves with an attentive ear appear in the hospital ward.

We are honored that you have placed your trust in us and that we can accompany you through the treatment process. We are also happy that we can achieve big and smaller goals together, and after each completed stage ring the bell, which has been hanging in the Institute for a while now, with pride. Every sound of it signifies further successes for us and encourages us to work harder. Thank you for being with us and together we can create a great community.
