Children's cerebral palsy (MPD) is not a judgment or the end of dreams. Despite the challenges in the field of pediatric orthopedics, among others, that people with MPD face, their determination and passion show that great things can be achieved. Success is not reserved only for those with "ideal" conditions. Often it is those who have to overcome difficulties that become the source of the greatest inspiration. So, on World Childhood Cerebral Palsy Day, let's take a look at some well-known figures from the world of culture, science, politics and sports who have realized their dreams despite MPD. You'll also find information about the contest at the end, where we want to see what passions you develop!

Christy Brown - writer and artist

Christy Brown was an Irish writer, poet and painter who was born with MPD. Although he could only control his left foot, he learned to write and paint with it. His autobiographical book "My Left Foot" became a bestseller and was filmed, winning an Oscar! His passion for writing and art showed that no limitations can stop true talent.

RJ Mitte - actor

RJ Mitte is best known for his role as Walter White Jr. in the popular series "Breaking Bad." He was born with MPD, but never let it limit him. He became a well-known actor and activist, inspiring people around the world to pursue their dreams, regardless of the difficulties. His success in Hollywood is proof that even in the demanding world of show business, it is possible to achieve success with MPD.

Bonner Paddock - sportsman and philanthropist

Bonner Paddock is the first man with MPD to summit Kilimanjaro and complete the Ironman marathon in Kona, Hawaii. He is also the founder of the "OM Foundation," which supports children with MPD. Maysoon Zayid - comedian and activist
