Early childhood is a time of intense visual development. At Paley European Institute Neurocenter, we offer a comprehensive functional vision evaluation that includes an analysis of a child's visual abilities, such as visual acuity, visual field, depth perception and eye-hand coordination. We examine how the child integrates movement and vision, which is crucial for proper development.
Every child is different, so we create individual plans for visual stimulation, including the selection of toys, how they are presented, and adaptation of the environment to the child's needs. Children with visual disabilities need additional support in learning to navigate, so we offer techniques and exercises to develop navigation and orientation skills. We also suggest appropriate optical and non-optical aids, such as magnifiers, corrective glasses and electronic devices.
We work with therapists to stimulate the child's vision during other therapies and adapt communication materials to the child's visual abilities. Our goal is to support parents and therapists in stimulating and developing the visual functioning of children aged 1-3, creating optimal conditions for the all-round development of the little ones.

Supporting parents and families in dealing with the challenges of the developmental age is crucial for the proper development of the child. Our offer includes educating parents about child development at this age, providing them with knowledge of effective support strategies, as well as coordinating and organizing psychological and pedagogical therapy. We conduct a detailed assessment of the child's psychomotor development and the therapies carried out so far, allowing their possible modification to better suit the needs of the toddler.
By building communication systems based on high- and low-tech tools and diagnosing communication competence, we can tailor AAC therapies to the individual child's needs. We support parents in adapting to the nursery or kindergarten, prepare for cleanliness training and help deal with the rebellion of a two-year-old. We also provide independence support, adapting games and equipment to the child's age and abilities, which promotes communication skills and overall psychomotor development.
