She is a specialist in orthopedics and musculoskeletal traumatology with experience in pediatric orthopedics, neuro-orthopedics, limb reconstruction and treating amputee patients and those at risk of amputation.
She graduated from the Medical University of Gdansk and received her MD degree from Nagoya University in Nagoya, Japan. She gained her clinical experience at renowned centers in Australia, Japan, South Africa and Malawi. She is recognized for her interdisciplinary approach to treating orthopedic conditions in both children and adults.
It specializes in, among other things:
Treatment of post-traumatic limb complications such as bone infections, pus fistulas, lack of fusion, delayed or abnormal fusion;
Reconstructive procedures for the treatment of the diabetic foot (including Charcot foot);
surgical treatment of foot deformities, such as clubfoot, flat foot and vertical ankle bone alignment;
osseointegration and stump plasty after amputations (in close cooperation with the prosthetic team);
Treatment of limbs at risk of amputation - chronic ulcers and ischemic lesions.
At the Institute, he also provides ultrasound diagnosis and treatment of hip dysplasia in infants.
He uses modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques in his practice. He also uses external stabilization systems in limb reconstruction, including the Ilizarov method and computer-controlled external frames. Each patient receives comprehensive care from a multidisciplinary team of specialists - physiatrists, orthotists, prosthetists and occupational therapists.
Privately, she is a mother of two teenagers. She loves to travel with her family and explore the world.
