Ewelina Iwanowska

Psychologist

When working with patients, I focus on their mental comfort. I am aware that talking about difficult topics often involves stepping outside one's comfort zone. I pay a lot of attention to empathy and listening skills in order to best help the patient accept his emotions.

She graduated from SWPS University with a degree in psychology in English and is a psychotherapist after a four-year School of Integrative Psychotherapy at the INTRA Center for Psychological Assistance and Education, certified by the Psychiatric and Psychological Association. She is a member of the Polish Society for Integrative Experiential Psychotherapy and Social Education. She is certified as a teacher and holds a diploma in Management of Health Care Organizations from the Warsaw School of Economics.

She gained professional experience at the Institute of Cardiology in Anin, the National Emergency Service for Victims of Violence, the Warsaw Mokotow Detention Center, the Academic Clinical Hospital in Vienna, the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw; at the Department of Affective Disorders, the therapeutic ward for first episodes of psychosis, the Department of Forensic Psychiatry and specialized mental health clinics.

For many years she lived in France, Korea and Austria, where she gained knowledge and professional experience. She regularly improves her skills by participating in training courses and psychological and psychiatric conferences. She subjects her work to regular supervision.
