Dominika Jakubowska

Dominika Jakubowska is a psychologist, TSR therapist and social skills trainer. She continuously educates herself and supervises her work. She is currently in the process of postgraduate studies in psychotraumatology in order to be even more effective in supporting people with difficult experiences related to hospitalization and surgery.

Dominica’s work focuses on supporting children, young people and their carers through the challenges that arise in their lives. She looks with them at the goals they want to achieve and, using the skills and resources already available, looks for the most supportive strategies. When working with patients, she also draws from the Nonviolent Agreement, which beautifully touches on the topic of emotions and needs.

During a meeting with Dominika you can count on full empathy and non-judgmental attentiveness. She is committed to building an atmosphere of mutual security and trust, so that everyone can fearlessly focus on the most sensitive topics.

In her work with children and adolescents she is particularly close to the topics of anxiety, difficulties in relationships with other people, selective mutism and challenges faced by people with motor disabilities.
