Cosmetic limb lengthening – how does it work?

The limb lengthening methods developed by Dr. Paley are completely safe and effective. Increased height is achieved through the use of special implants. Initially, a magnetic intramedullary nail is implanted, equipped with a gearbox and an electromagnetic motor. Then, by applying an external device with a magnetic field, the nail is lengthened, and subsequently, the bones.

The limb lengthening process is straightforward, painless, and invisible to the naked eye as it takes place inside the bones. There are no wires, rods, or pins protruding from the legs, as was the case with external devices. The patient does not feel the bone growth, which means they do not have to give up their daily activities.
