Hospital stay

At the Paley European Institute, we understand that the well-being of the patient is the foundation for their speedy recovery. Therefore, we make every effort to ensure that the hospital stay takes place in a safe atmosphere and is as comfortable as possible. Surgeries are performed at the cooperating Medicover Hospital in Warsaw, which is a multidisciplinary hospital offering high-quality services to patients (confirmed by accreditations from the Ministry of Health, ISO certificates, and the “Pain-Free Hospital” certificate), as well as ensuring full safety (including an intensive care unit). Its strengths lie in its experienced staff, modern equipment, and comfortable facilities.Together, we provide the highest standards of patient care.

Can a parent stay with the child?

Reducing stress, building a sense of security, and maintaining good relationships with the family can significantly support the healing process of an ill child. Therefore, we attach great importance to providing parents of patients with comfortable accommodation conditions together with their child in the ward.

We offer overnight stay in the patient’s room for one parent, on a comfortable sofa bed, with a complete set of bedding and full meals. Parents also have access to a corner equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and electric kettle. There is a restaurant located on the ground floor of the hospital.

Parents are encouraged and should accompany their child during examinations, dressing changes, preparation for anesthesia, or the awakening procedure.

Animation

During hospitalization, we provide encounters with animators who bring smiles to children during their stay in the hospital through their dedication and ideas. Optimism and an open-minded approach to the world influence our young patients and their parents, who can momentarily forget about the sadness and concerns associated with the procedure.
