With great joy, we want to share with you some exciting news - on March 9, 2024, the ceremonial opening of the second branch of the Paley European Institute in Poland will take place.

Neurocenter is a modern rehabilitation center designed to provide comprehensive care to patients with various neurological challenges. In one place, we offer access to outstanding specialists, including experienced physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, experts in alternative and augmentative communication, and speech therapists. Additionally, the center provides the opportunity to select and customize orthopedic equipment tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

 

Plan of the opening ceremony:

Free Consultations:

   – Orthotic consultations (09:00 – 16:00)

   – Psychological consultations (10:00 – 15:00)

   – Physiotherapy consultations (10:15 – 15:30)

Consultations will take place concurrently with fascinating lectures.

Lectures and Presentations:

   – 10:15 – 11:00: Alicja Wojtasiewicz – “Does my child need a functional vision assessment?”

   – 12:00 – 13:00: Beata Wnuk – “Interdisciplinary treatment of children with cerebral palsy”

   – 14:15 – 15:00: Katarzyna Savov – “Casting in pediatric neurology”

Each lecture session will also include a Q&A session.

Activities for Children:

   – For the youngest participants, there will be animations, games, and activities with physiotherapists.

Equipment Presentation:

   – Opportunity to receive assistance from the Orthotic and Prosthetic Specialists Association team in selecting and customizing orthopedic equipment.

   – Show room with various models of wheelchairs, bikes, seats, car seats, and other accessories.
