Hubert’s story – McKusick type dysplasia
Hubert is a boy with McKusick-type dysplasia – a very rare genetic disease that manifests itself in the skeletal system, the motor system, as well as other disorders, including with the immune system.
In Hubert’s case, we performed reconstruction of the elbow and forearm joints, as well as reconstruction of the lower limbs, in terms of repairing the limb axis, together with implantation of magnetic nails into the femurs to lengthen the limbs.
Today the boy is 5 new centimeters tall! But this is not the end of his treatment, the boy is facing another operation in the future for limb lengthening.
Thank you for your trust and we wish you further therapeutic progress!
